2026 Start Strong for Long Day Care - New Services

This form is for the approved providers of a service that opened on or after the June 2025 data capture period and services who were not captured in the June 2025 data capture. Providers with eligible 3YO and 4YO+ children are invited to apply for funding under the 2026 Start Strong for Long Day Care program. 

You must be an authorised representative of the Approved Provider to complete the 2026 Start Strong for Long Day Care - New Services form. An authorised representative is a person nominated to act on behalf of the Approved Provider.

You will need to complete a separate 2026 Start Strong for Long Day Care - New Services form for each service as requested by the department.

The Approved Provider acknowledges and agrees that:

• they have read the 2026-start-strong-for-long-day-care-program-guidelines and the fee relief spending rules under the 9.4 4YO+ Fee Relief Payment and 3YO Fee Relief Trial Payment spending rules;
• they are not required to provide fee relief to families until funding eligibility has been confirmed, or funding has been received. Any decision to provide fee relief before confirmation of 2026 Start Strong for Long Day Care funding is an operational decision of the Approved Provider, and;
• the eligibility of a service remains at the absolute discretion of the department.
