Early Childhood Education
This program will provide time-limited payments to community and mobile preschools to support staff retention and provide free preschool to local families.
Funding will be provided as a top up payment to replace a proportion of fee income that is being lost as a result of decreasing enrolments due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Start Strong funding and mobile preschool contract funding provided by the NSW Government and support provided under the Australian Government’s JobKeeper program will be taken into account before any additional funding support is provided.
Service eligibility will be determined and payments made based on responses provided in this confirmation form.
The existing JobKeeper scheme is changing from 28 September 2020. You will need to consider these changes and determine your eligibility for the updated JobKeeper scheme prior to completing the Term 4 confirmation process.
If you are unsure of your JobKeeper status under the updated arrangements you will need to resolve this prior to completing the Term 4 confirmation process.
The Term 4 confirmation process will remain open until 20 November 2020 to provide you with time to confirm JobKeeper Payment Scheme eligibility under the updated JobKeeper arrangements. Confirmation forms for Terms 2 and 3 will also need to be submitted by this date. This will allow for payments to be processed prior to the end of the year.
